Our terms and conditions...
As far as shopping with us is concerned, you're dealing with a bricks and mortar institution that was established over 30 years ago! We're a small shop with a big heart and find that in most trading situations, a problem can be remedied by common sense and fair play by all concerned. However, we are legally and honour bound to provide the following statements which represent the "bottom line" in our dealings online. If you've got a spare half hour and you haven't left anything on the stove then by all means check them out! Here goes...

Delivery
We will endeavour to supply your order promptly. Where possible it will be with you in 2-3 working days provided it is in stock although we make no guarantee. Where articles are travelling over water within the UK (for example, The Hebrides) and additional postage costs are incurred by us then we reserve the right to pass these charges on to the customer and a delay of several days may be encountered. If any articles on your order are out of stock then we will notify you by email but process that part of the order that we can supply. We will refund any product that is returned as new (together with its packaging) within 30 days. Any faulty products may be refunded or replaced at our discretion and we reserve the right to return them to the manufacturer for evaluation - please be warned that this can take several weeks. We regret that we cannot refund postage where non-faulty items are returned to us.
Every effort will be made to have your order with you as soon as possible but Paul Braithwaite Outdoor Sports cannot accept responsibility for late or non-delivery spoiling a mountaineering trip or anything else. Goods will probably require signing for, so it is best to give a delivery address where you can be certain of some-one being present to accept them.
If your parcel is urgent then please ring us on 0161 620 3900.
Carriage Costs
Carriage charges are clearly indicated on the shopping cart and are subject to regular change depending on market forces. Certain heavy or awkward items (skis etc.) may incur extra charges but these will be clearly shown at checkout. Where possible we will endeavour to provide free carriage and even when carriage is charged, it will only ever be at cost. There is no "packing" charge.
Order Acceptance
If you have supplied us with your e-mail address, we will notify you by e-mail as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your order. At this point the contract for the sale of the goods shall be formed at the place from which the acceptance e-mail is sent. If however you have not supplied us with an e-mail address, our confirmation of order page at the end of the ordering process shall act as confirmation of acceptance of the order. No contract will exist until you receive confirmation from us that we have accepted your order.

If you are in any way unhappy with your purchases you may send them back for an exchange or full refund. Please return your purchase to us in its original condition and with all packaging intact within 14 days of receipt to:
