Loads of on and off street parking available near the shop
There's plenty of parking in the vicinity of the shop – most of it is metered so if you're anticipating a long visit, say for a boot fitting, then make sure you put enough change in. On street parking immediately outside the shop allows for up to two hours visit and the off street car parks near the shop (see map) allow for longer stays. If you haven't got change then we always have loads - just whiz in and see us first...

Worth also checking the old B&Q car park nearby (see map) as currently the parking appears to be free although this could change at the drop of a hat.

For those customers who are disabled, there is a disabled parking space immediately outside the shop.

If it's the parking charge that's keeping you away from the shop then let us know and we'll pay it for you when you make a purchase – it's worth it to us as we greatly value your custom...

And while you're here in town, why not visit Zutti's for cutting edge designer clothing, Tymbuktu for the latest in health and beauty treatment, The Open Fire Centre for that wood burning stove you've always promised yourself and enjoy a fresh and tasty sandwich, panini or salad from Deez on Yorkshire Street where you can take out or sit in with a coffee. And if your car needs a tyre or exhaust change, Pete and Chris at Personal Tyres on Beever Street (0161 624 2826) will probably sort it out while you shop here.

For full location map and details of travel to the shop click hereOldham is blessed with loads of parking but it is virtually ALL metered. However, Oldham Council have listened sympathetically to local retailers and taken the welcome and unprecedented step of HALVING the on street parking charges in the town centre – now it's some of the CHEAPEST on street parking in the country!

A petition started by Mountainfeet helped focus attention on this emotive subject – we're pleased that steps are now being taken to kickstart the amenity value of the town and make it easier for people to visit the excellent and specialist independent shops in the area.
